SLC result and exam experience of a student

S.L.C result or School Leaving Certificate , The Iron Gate, sounds so heavy.

Yes, I was too frightened like all the others. S.L.C, the word was buzzing in my ears from childhood and now it was my turn to appear in it to prove myself. Pressure was there on me to secure good marks as the scholarship will be determined on your S.L.C result percentage.

I am the girl who lives on her own world. I didn’t give damn to it. S.L.C-S.L.C-S.L.C everywhere I go people ask about it how well you have prepared for? I was in confusion why people were giving so much importance to S.L.C. S.L.C is considered as the base and your base ought to be stronger but I think people were giving more importance than necessary. The first day on school in grade 10, entered the classroom and teachers gave a lecture on it. Do well, do the best, your future gonna be depend on it. No study, no job, no future. Your future will be in dark. The teacher’s lecture ended up like this. Time-to-time teachers were keep on telling us to take my studies seriously. Days were passing and S.L.C was coming. Before S.L.C, we gave 3 exams viz pre-test, test and pre-slc. The experience of these exam made the S.L.C ease. I was repeating the things again and again. The exam had become so usual to me. Simply S.L.C became of no care due to overloads of exams. Finally SLC 1st day exam. Blessing of parents and teachers was with me. Gather all the guts, entered the hall. I had damn the exam. However it affected me. My legs were shaking. The 1st day exam was over. Everybody were asking how the exam was. The exam days continued. The syllabus changed on social exam and I was like what is this??? Finally the exam was over and I was on cloud nine. The holidays were over in no time. The results were out and distinction wow! It was an achievement for me. The S.L.C experience will always be cherish for me.
